The Drivers Seat! Health and physical education teachers have the power to provide students with the most relevant, personal, transferable and sustainable learning experiences that exist inside any school building! A statement all of us believe, and most of us have probably said at one point or another, but what does it really mean? How do we harness our true potential, in an effort to positively influence the trajectory of a child's life? What are the key ingredients needed to optimize the student experience, and how do we intentionally bring them to the forefront of our teaching? How do we take care of ourselves, support one another and continue to nourish our profession so it can flourish? What should we never lose sight of? Leaning on years of diverse experiences in both health and physical education, Charlie Rizzuto shares insights to these questions and many more. Hop in the car and take the wheel, you are in the driver's seat!
